Our Mission & Vision

At My Forno, we know that bread sits at the heart of our tables, meals, families, and lives. When created with love, from the earth to the table, it brings life, health and builds community.

The advent of social media platforms, where communities share knowledge together, coupled with the awareness of the industrialsiation of food production and impact on health has created a perfect storm that has sparked a never before seen global growth in the interest and desire to create artisan baked goods. Fortunate for us, our key team at My Forno have been doing this for generations.

My Forno was developed to empower lovers of bread, be it professional, amataur and everything in between. Our mission is to provide bakers with the tools that are reliable, have a low power consumption and provide you, the baker, the performance you need to bake your world a better place.

Our vision is to offer big industry performance in all our equipment within a micro-baking space. We strive for big performance, low power consumption, and excellence in simplicity. We take the time to do it right so you can take the time to enjoy it.

Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of My Forno. Power consumption is a significant concern for us. One of my greatest inspirations, John Reid, a founder of Grains, used to bake bread in a wood oven to reduce power usage. My Forno was designed with this in mind, ensuring that the heat transfer into the bread is done efficiently, using the least power possible.

Our manufacturing partners, for the most part, create parts in house with a legacy of premium quality and sustainability.

We aim to partner with a generation of passionate and sustainable bakers, and our engineering reflects this commitment.

Community

We believe in the power of community. Rather than focusing only on large-scale bakeries producing millions of loaves, It’s our dream to see millions of people making 100 loaves each, impacting hundreds of millions of lives.

Historically, bakers were just one link in the food chain, working with farmers who grew diverse crops sustainably. Industrialisation has changed that. It’s out hope as we equip passionate artisan bakers globally, that they will find their local farmer and their local miller and rebuild their local grain economy.

We know that this will create global change and restore vital nutrition and health into communities world-wide.

Customer Experience

Our goal is to provide a remarkable customer experience with My Forno products. We want our customers to feel the same excitement and satisfaction as they would with high-end industrial ovens but at a more accessible price point. Our products come with comprehensive support, including warranties and compliance, ensuring trust and reliability.

The journey of a baker is a continuous learning process. Bakers become consumed with learning all the recipies and tweaks in the method in their persuit of baking perfection. We know equpiment has a role to play in achieving this. Our equipment has been primarily deisgned to operate in small spaces with low power consumption but offering an uncompromisingly high performance – perfect for the micro baker, the tight space in your cafe and all your hospitality applications.

We aim to equip our customers with the baking tools they need to succeed. With features like steam in the baking chamber and precise temperature control within our ovens, we have created a range of bakery equipment offering exceptional performance to empower you to create your perfect bakery products. A note from our founder - Cesare Salemi

G’day, my name is Cesare Salemi, and my journey began in the heart of my family’s bakery in Sydney’s western suburbs. Baking is in my blood; it’s a legacy passed down from my grandfather, who sold bread on the streets of Sinopoli in southern Italy, to my father, who did the same here in Australia.

Growing up, I played among flour sacks and climbed up to the top with my matchbox cars, dropping them down and waiting for the week’s end to get them back from my father. Those early experiences shaped my understanding of bread. To me, bread was never just a product; it was a symbol of survival, life, and family.

For the first 21 years of my life, our home was an industrial bakery. The ovens were enormous, and the joy of shaping and baking my first loaf of bread was incomparable. We prided ourselves on making handcrafted artisan bread that the big companies couldn’t replicate. My father would bake all day and then fill up the van to deliver bread to our customers, where I would accompany him on bread runs. The value of bread went beyond money; it was a vital part of our existence as first-generation migrants.

After a realising I couldn’t bake bread professionally anymore due to poor health, I wanted to continue my passion for making real bread and made it my mission to create the best bakery equipment possible to empower like-spirited artisan bakers.

Let’s be real – modern bread is broken. As a passionate third-generation baker and global bakery consultant, I’ve made it my mission to fix it, but as they say – it takes a village. This led me to develop My Forno, with the hope of being able to empower a generation of pasionate food revolutionists whose desire is to bake their world a better place. Together we can fix it.

Over the years of experience and working with various equipment, small and large, it’s my great honour and privledge to present this equip to you. Each piece has been created with you the artisan in mind. We pushed the limitation and boundaires of performance while using as low power consumption as possible – because it matters.

When I baked bread, I was taught to put love, care and passion into every loaf, and I did that for 30 years. Our promise to you when you partner with My Forno, we commit to do the same with every piece of equipment we create.
